BALTIMORE, Md. — Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred late Sunday night, resulting in injuries to six people in the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene around 9:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly thereafter, a third victim sought assistance at a nearby firehouse.
In the following minutes, three additional victims arrived at a local hospital for treatment. Of the six individuals involved, one is reported to have sustained serious injuries. The victims are believed to be between the ages of 17 and 21, although their exact ages have not yet been confirmed.
Initial investigations suggest that the victims were gathered on Harman Avenue when a vehicle approached. Two individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and as of Monday morning, no arrests have been made.
