In a tragic turn of events, Baltimore experienced one of its deadliest days this month on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a 3-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man riding a scooter.

The first incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood. A 14-year-old boy driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen struck the young girl in the 1800 block of West Pratt Street. Despite being rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver fled the scene but was later detained by police after officers located the stolen vehicle.

Shortly after, at approximately 2:30 p.m., another tragedy unfolded in the Broadway East neighborhood. A 19-year-old man riding a scooter was involved in a collision with an SUV on North Washington Street. He was also taken to the hospital but did not survive. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene.

In addition to these incidents, two homicides were reported on the same day. At 12:21 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot and killed inside a business located in the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue in Arlington. No arrests have been made in connection with this shooting.

Later, around 1:40 p.m., a 56-year-old woman was discovered with multiple lacerations in her home on East 25th Street in the Harwood neighborhood. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died. A 50-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
