DutiesInclude the following and other duties may be assigned:
1. In accordance with priority of work on hand prepares documents for scanning. Attention to detail is a must and resolution of conflicts with records must be completed prior to imaging as that is the only way of assuring that departments will be able to retrieve their records once they are in the electronic records system. This is due to the fact that in most cases, the original paper is destroyed once scanned and verified.
2. During scan process, close verification is important to insure the quality of the images as well as that all documents are processed with none being missed. Batch identification is assigned so that the document is easily located for resolution of any questions that arise during data entry.
3. Perform data entry which associates metadata with the scanned images. This metadata, as agreed upon by the departments, will be used to retrieve documents using search criteria.
4. Answer questions that might arise from departments concerning their work being converted.
5. Assist where needed as a floater in the event of staff absentees or vacations.
6. OTHER: Answers the telephone and handle any questions that may arise.
Verifies production records for accuracy of daily production output. Assists in training personnel in other departments on use of the Records system.
Performs other duties as may be required in support of Office operations.
