Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide following the shooting of a 36-year-old woman on July 22, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Officers from the Western District were in the vicinity when they heard gunfire and received a ShotSpotter alert. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the immediate assistance provided by the officers, the woman was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
